When you meet a potential customer how do you go about introducing yourself? Does your ‘elevator pitch’ grab their interest or do you sometimes struggle to find the right words – or even worse does your introduction come across as a well-rehearsed sales pitch?!

At our August luncheon Dave Wild of strategy and innovation consultancy Smith & Wild will reveal critical steps in developing the perfect elevator pitch. You’ll then be able to immediately put some of the new ideas into action by networking – with the opportunity to get some expert guidance during the luncheon to help perfect your pitch.

Dave Wild is Smith & Wild’s Lead Strategist and Managing Director. He has spent over 15 years working as a strategist for business, design, marketing and innovation consultancies. Dave has led workshops in New Zealand, Australia and the United States. His experience covers a broad range of expertise including business strategy, facilitation, training, technology, innovation – and pitching!

As well as assisting many smaller and medium businesses to compete and grow, Dave also works with major organisations including Air New Zealand, BNZ, KPMG, The Warehouse, UNICEF and Vero Insurance – with many of these client relationships beginning with an elevator pitch.
